Order Process Details: In November 2023, while attending the Tokyo International Jewelry Fair, we were contacted by this Japanese distributor. The client stated they were a pearl jewelry supplier for several high-end department stores in Japan and needed a batch of high-quality Akoya pearl earrings to supplement their winter product line. The client's core requirements were: firstly, the products must meet the stringent quality standards of the Japanese jewelry industry; and secondly, the goods must arrive at Yokohama port within 30 days, and we needed assistance with completing Japanese import customs clearance procedures. We first provided the client with relevant documents such as the Akoya pearl's certificate of origin and quality inspection report, and arranged for a local Japanese quality inspection agency to re-inspect the samples to ensure the products fully met Japanese standards. Regarding customs clearance, we contacted a professional customs brokerage firm in Japan, prepared all customs documents in advance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and quality inspection certificates, and coordinated with the factory's production department to expedite production, completing the production and packaging of 2,000 pairs of earrings within 25 days. After the goods were shipped, we tracked the logistics information in real time, promptly informing the client of the goods' location. Ultimately, the goods arrived at the port within 28 days and successfully completed customs clearance. During the after-sales phase, we regularly communicated with our clients regarding product sales. We also created a Japanese-language pearl care manual specifically for the needs of Japanese consumers. Client feedback indicated that product sales in department stores exceeded expectations; the initial order of 1200 pairs sold within one month, and a follow-up order of 1500 pairs was placed in January 2024.
